Blake "Lil BV" Velick
Blake is thrilled to be social chair of Q. He is still the Just Dance champion of the qamily and cannot live without sour candy, spicy Cheetos, Vanilla Coke, Netflix, Nancy Drew, and finding a way to make every conversation somehow relate back to theatre. No really, he predicted 20/26 Tonys last year… he is literally a Broadway nerd.
With Q, he was Fred Casely/Annie (six) in Chicago, Cameron (Give me the Ball) in Bring It On, a co-director of The Haunting of Hill House (underscored by Tinashe… maybe), and Dwayne (The Rock Johnson?) in 9 to 5 (RIP freshman spring fling). As a Michigander, he insists on saying pop, not soda, and can usually be heard saying “I’m from Michigan, it is not cold here”. Even though he is a student in the Master of Behavioral and Decision Science program who just wants to know how the heck people make decisions on this rock called Earth, he still fits the English-y/Communications vibe of the qamily by working in strategic communications and being a former blogger for BroadwayWorld (peep his articles here https://bit.ly/3ndUv0H) |
